ADRIONWIND ICT Platform – Terms of Service

1. Scope and acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the ADRIONWIND ICT platform and related online services ("Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.

2. Platform operator

The Platform is operated by the ADRIONWIND Lead Partner (LP1) University of Zagreb, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture (UNIZAG FSB).

3. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old (or have authorisation under your organisation's rules) to create an account.
  • You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of login credentials and all actions under your account.

4. Permitted use

You may use the Platform only for legitimate ADRIONWIND-related purposes, including networking, knowledge exchange, participation in thematic groups, and project events.

5. Prohibited use

You must not:

  • upload or share unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or discriminatory content,
  • post spam or unsolicited promotional content,
  • upload malware or attempt to disrupt or bypass Platform security,
  • share confidential information without permission,
  • infringe intellectual property rights.

6. User content and licence

You retain ownership of content you upload ("User Content").

By posting User Content on the Platform, you grant the Platform operator a non‑exclusive, worldwide, royalty‑free licence to host, display, reproduce and distribute it within the Platform environment, solely for Platform operation and ADRIONWIND purposes.

If you upload content owned by a third party, you confirm you have the right to do so.

7. Community conduct and moderation

Use of the Platform is subject to the ADRIONWIND Code of Conduct and Moderation Policy (see documents below). The Platform operator and designated moderators may remove content, restrict access, or suspend accounts where necessary.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

  • you violate these Terms or the Code of Conduct,
  • your account poses a security risk,
  • it is required by law or project governance decisions.

You may request account deletion per the Privacy Policy.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Platform available and secure, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may modify the Platform and these Terms to reflect technical, organisational, or project changes.

10. Disclaimer

Platform content is provided for information and collaboration purposes. It does not constitute professional, legal, financial, or engineering advice. Use at your own risk.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Platform operator is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from Platform use.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of the country where the Platform operator is established (Croatia), unless mandatory provisions apply otherwise.
